Pilates-et-al is a small experienced team of health professionals passionate about how appropriate physical activity can enhance individual lives. They offer a bespoke, personal service through one to one coaching & small group work.
The Pilates sessions offer the opportunity to practise Pilates techniques through workshops & discussion, as well as understand its benefits & important relevance to daily activities.
Whether you are a complete beginner, recovering from injury, struggling with back problems, or an experienced exerciser/sportsperson Pilates-et-al's aim is to improve your body's functional performance & thereby enhance your quality of life.
Pilates-et-al offers an alternative to yoga holidays utilising a more functional method of exercising, employing a system of health-related exercises designed to maximise the body's natural movement patterns, thus minimising unnecessary stresses on muscular-skeletal structures, sometimes experienced with other forms of exercise.
Our week end & short break workshops are held in unique, picturesque surroundings with quality accommodation & nutritious, good food. Clients can fully relax & enjoy their experience, returning home refreshed & inspired to practised their newly gained skills.
Each holiday or retreat programme is devised to allow you to participate in as much or as little as you desire. An opportunity to escape, relax & enjoy. A schedule of Pilates classes & workshops provide the core element of the trip with additional activities available to maximise your experience - unwind with a relaxing massage, take a walk into the beautiful surrounding countryside, try your hand at sailing, visit local places of interest, or simply chill out by the pool.

Ante & Post Natal Pilates enabling the female client to prepare for child birth or repair after child birth;
'Guys Only' Workshops removing any intimidation felt by joining a mixed class;
Pilates & Back Care allowing participants to learn how to look after their back, reduce backache & help associated back problems.
Workshops can also target specific sports demonstrating how Pilates techniques can improve & compliment such sporting skills as Climbing, Golf, Riding, Sailing, and Skiing & Tennis.
