"...with the best rooftop views in North Africa... this is the country's first and foremost mountain retreat"

Hotel Review - Condé Nast Traveller

A most spectacular destination, just 60 km from Marrakech, The Kasbah du Toubkal is a stunning restoration of an abandoned Kasbah. Situated at the foot of Jbel Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak, The Kasbah du Toubkal is a truly remarkable place. At 1800 metres above sea level, it unobtrusively looks out over three major valleys in the High Atlas Mountains above the village of Imlil. The rooftop panorama is breath taking. An ecological sensitive retreat staffed by the warm and friendly local Berber population, your visit will be a memorable experience that will stay with you for many years to come.

The Kasbah stands in its own grounds of 1.25 hectares with many paths leading down through lush irrigated terraces, apple orchards and walnut groves to the village of Imlil.

The superior accommodation is befitting to the setting with mountain scenes from all windows. The skills of local craftsmen have been used to create a sympathetic environment with carved walnut furniture and indigenous furnishings. Some rooms are privileged with their own balconies or terraces enabling you to embrace the commanding views. The private bathrooms have either a shower or bath and provide all modern comforts to enhance your stay.

This inspiring location sets the mood for the group Pilates sessions. Outside terraces allow the mountain air to refresh you or the large function room provides cool shade to relax. Wherever you look dramatic panoramas surround you - a special place beyond the reach of the modern world - be sure not to miss out!

Sample Itinerary: Join your morning Pilates class and absorb the surrounding views as you revive your body with an energising session. Follow your breakfast with a gentle stroll through The Kasbah gardens or take in the views sipping mint tea.

Lunches will fuel you for a more active afternoon - trek a little further with mules and guides, challenge yourself on a mountain bike or join a 4x4 safari! Return to the use of the Hammam steam room to soothe any weary bones. Your second group Pilates class will focus on stretching and relaxing the muscles restoring them for the next day's excitement.

Evenings are spent enjoying Berber hospitality with local Moroccan cuisine. Unwind on a rooftop terrace and allow the night time sky to captivate you before retiring to bed for some deep sleep.
